Job summary

Nixil in Canberra-based operations lead a senior technical leadership program, shaping enterprise architecture and AI-enabled practices across the software delivery lifecycle. Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, implementing and governing cloud-native, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Proven track record delivering scalable, secure business-critical platforms.
• Strong expertise in AI engineering and AI-enabled solution delivery.
• Experience operationalising enterprise AI capabilities including semantic search and ML solutions.
• Knowledge of responsible AI governance and implementation practices.
• Strong software and platform engineering capability across modern frameworks.
• Practical expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability and security by design.
• Experience leading enterprise technology modernisation and transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural authority for cloud-native, microservices-based platforms.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and business transformation goals.
• Guide AI adoption across the software development lifecycle.
• Establish modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD and observability.
• Lead enhancement of microservices and event-driven architecture capabilities.
• Drive platform modernisation through containerisation and system integration.
• Improve scalability, security, reliability and operational resilience of key platforms.
• Influence architecture decisions and technology investment priorities.
• Provide direction to multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Establish governance and standards for secure, scalable service delivery.
