Job summary

Nixil is looking for a senior Microservices and AI Technical Architect to shape the enterprise's cloud-native, microservices and AI-enabled platforms from design through delivery. You will guide engineering decisions, establish governance, and build long-term engineering capability across the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience designing, implementing and governing cloud-native, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrated record of delivering scalable, secure platforms and leading modernization initiatives.
• Strong expertise in AI-enabled solution delivery and AI engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural authority for cloud-native, microservices-based and AI-enabled platforms.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and business transformation goals.
• Guide adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle.
• Establish modern engineering practices including AI-enabled development, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and observability.
• Lead enhancement of microservices and event-driven capabilities.
• Drive platform modernization through containerisation and system integration.
• Improve scalability, security, reliability and operational resilience of platforms.
• Influence architecture decisions and technology investment priorities.
• Provide direction to multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Establish governance and standards for secure, scalable service delivery.
• Coach and transfer knowledge within delivery teams.
