Job summary

Whizdom in Canberra seeks a technical leader to shape enterprise microservices and AI-enabled platforms, guiding architectural decisions and delivery practices.

You will drive cloud native design, ensure security alignment, and champion modern engineering, DevSecOps, and automated testing across the service delivery lifecycle. This role also involves guiding AI adoption and ensuring capability transfer throughout delivery, with a 12-month contract and competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Led design of cloud native platforms and AI-enabled delivery.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and automated testing.
• Ability to influence engineering decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural authority for the design, governance and evolution of cloud native, microservices based and AI enabled platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security and business transformation objectives.
• Lead the establishment of modern engineering and AI delivery practices, including AI enabled software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, automated testing and platform engineering standards that support secure, scalable and reliable service delivery.
