Job summary

Cbite Recruit is seeking a technical leader to guide cloud native, microservices and AI-enabled platforms from Canberra. You will drive SDLC modernization, DevSecOps, observability and secure, scalable service delivery while ensuring capability transfer across delivery teams.

Responsibilities include aligning architecture with enterprise security and transformation objectives, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver measurable improvements in reliability and maturity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing cloud native, microservices and event driven architectures.
• Expertise in AI engineering, enterprise AI deployment and responsible AI practices.
• Strong software/platform engineering capability with modern frameworks and DevSecOps.
• Ability to lead modernization programs, influence architecture and improve platform maturity.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership across teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural authority for cloud native, microservices and AI platforms.
• Lead modern engineering and AI delivery practices, including SDLC, CI/CD, observability and security by design.
• Drive platform modernization, containerisation and enterprise system integration.
• Build capability through governance, knowledge transfer and multidisciplinary team leadership.
