Job summary

ACCIONA delivers major rail upgrades in Melbourne's Southern Program Alliance, focusing on data-driven decision making. The Data Reporting & AI Analyst role sits at the center of how the project uses data and AI to improve outcomes.

The successful candidate will build structured reporting across ALT, AMT and project disciplines, champion responsible AI use, pilot new tools like Claude and Copilot, and collaborate with Data Science and Project Controls teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Mathematics, Science or similar field.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, Power Query and SQL.
• Background in data analytics on large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and National Crime Check.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for all disciplines.
• Develop Power Query pipelines supporting finance and cost control.
• Lead proof of concept trials for AI tools including Claude.
• Train and upskill staff in AI usage and prompt engineering.
• Establish feedback loops to identify AI adoption opportunities.
• Prepare innovation submissions and track adoption metrics.
• Maintain data integrity and audit ready documentation.
