Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering major rail upgrades in Melbourne, leading data-driven decision making for the Southern Program Alliance. The Data Reporting & AI Analyst will build a structured reporting suite across ALT, AMT and project disciplines and champion responsible AI use across the alliance.

You will design AI use cases, run proof of concept trials, train staff in prompt engineering, and collaborate with corporate Data Science and Project Controls teams to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Mathematics, Science or similar field.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, Power Query and SQL.
• Background in data analytics on large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and National Crime Check.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards across SPA packages and disciplines.
• Develop Power Query pipelines supporting finance and cost control.
• Lead proof of concept trials for AI tools including Claude.
• Train project staff on prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
• Maintain data integrity and audit-ready documentation.
• Share learnings with ACCIONA's corporate Data Science and Project Controls teams.
