Job summary

The Onset Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of a major data centre build. This hands-on role covers compute, networking, storage, power, cooling, cabling and facilities, requiring close coordination with vendors and contractors.

You’ll own plans, budgets, risks and governance, and work with engineering teams delivering production AI infrastructure within a hyperscale environment.

Qualifications

• Significant data centre / IT infrastructure project delivery experience.
• Experience across network, storage, compute and facilities infrastructure.
• Strong third-party vendor and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Own the data centre project from planning through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage delivery across network, storage, compute and facilities.
• Coordinate power, cooling, structured cabling and data hall readiness.
• Manage vendors, contractors, procurement and infrastructure supply chains.
• Own project plans, budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies.
• Lead governance, milestone reviews, steering updates and change control.
• Oversee infrastructure commissioning, acceptance testing and operational handover.
• Work closely with technical engineering teams delivering production AI infrastructure.
