Pacific Life Re is seeking a Claims Automation Developer in Australia to support Underwriting & Claims Solutions. You will develop and implement automated claims propositions and manage client and partner engagements.

The role emphasizes Australian market experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel or coding capabilities, with collaboration across AVP and client teams to deliver scalable automation and rules configuration in The Engine.

Formación

• Certificate IV in Life Insurance (or equivalent) required; degree preferred.
• Experience in life and disability claims within Australian insurance or reinsurance.
• Strong knowledge of Australian life insurance products, claims practices, and regulatory requirements including LICOP.
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, complex reporting) or coding experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Automate claims solutions implementations in ANZ with PL Re, UnderwriteMe and client teams.
• Gather requirements, run workshops, test, train and ensure readiness.
• Act as claims SME, advising on rules and implementation decisions.
• Translate requirements into practical rules and ruleset changes for clients.
• Develop knowledge of rules configuration in The Engine to support testing and issue resolution.
• Document rule decisions and learnings for governance and uplift.
• Support client strategy, marketing and pricing activities with partners.
• Provide client training and knowledge transfer on underwriting and claims solutions.
