Job description

Step beyond single-claim thinking and shape how claims are assessed at scale. This is your chance to work across the entire insurance value chain, moving from "How do I assess this claim?" to "How can claims be captured, assessed and automated across a whole system?"

You'll help build a claims automation solution that sets the standard for future implementations. With a clear path to influence how technology transforms claims lodgement, assessment and decision‑making, you'll demonstrate strategic and commercial capabilities that are rare to develop in traditional claims roles.

Claims has long seen less tech investment than other areas of insurance. That's changing fast. You'll work on a live automation project that improves efficiency, scalability and customer outcomes - and lays the groundwork for broader future innovation, including AI-driven medical assessments and automated IP evaluations.

You'll have the option for hybrid work in Sydney, or full-time remote if you're based in NSW.

What you'll do

Initially, you'll support the delivery of a claims automation solution for a key client, helping to strengthen the underlying claims rule set and prepare the proposition for wider use. This will give you hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge claims technology and the chance to shape its future direction.

Longer term, you'll help demonstrate what claims automation can achieve and contribute to a proposition that has significant potential if delivered well. You'll also build a stronger claims automation foundation, so future implementations don't have to start from scratch.
