Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Claims expertise to join a major transformation program in Sydney. You will work on AI-enabled automation to modernise the end-to-end claims experience and will partner with business and technology teams across multiple squads.

The role focuses on defining requirements, translating them into user stories and test scenarios, and ensuring alignment with governance and Responsible AI standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in technology transformation programs.
• Strong claims domain knowledge and end-to-end process understanding.
• Excellent requirements elicitation and documentation skills.
• Experience translating business needs into user stories, flows, rules and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with workflow, automation, integrations and enterprise tech platforms.
• Exposure to AI-enabled solutions or automation projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and tech stakeholders to define claims requirements and outcomes.
• Analyse claims processes to identify AI, automation and workflow opportunities.

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Claims expertise to join a major transformation program leveraging AI and automation to modernise and enhance the end-to-end claims experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define Claims requirements and outcomes.
• Analyse claims processes and identify opportunities for AI, automation, workflow solutions.
• Translate business needs into user stories, requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with architects, developers, testers and AI/data teams.
• Support solution design, integrations and delivery across multiple squads.
• Identify risks, dependencies and ambiguity, driving effective stakeholder decisions.
• Ensure solutions align with governance, risk, compliance and Responsible AI requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst within technology transformation programs.
• Proven Claims project experience, with a strong understanding of end-to-end claims processes.
• Experience working across the interface between business and technology teams.
• Strong capability in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation.
• Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules and test scenarios.
• Experience working with workflow, automation, integrations and enterprise technology platforms.
• Exposure to AI-enabled solutions, machine learning or AI-driven process automation is highly desirable.
