Job summary

NAB invites applications for an Agribusiness Manager 1 Broker based in Adelaide to lead growth across broker-introduced agribusiness and diversified customers. You will collaborate with lending specialists to prepare proposals and manage portfolios with a focus on profitability and risk controls.

You will develop strategies, build networks, and coach junior colleagues while delivering exceptional customer outcomes and strong engagement with internal teams and brokers.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in business, commercial or private banking.
• Proven ability to build, maintain networks to drive business growth and customer engagement.
• Commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong capability in building both personal and enterprise brands in internal and external markets.
• A broad knowledge of banking products and services, including transactional and e-commerce solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate widely across various business units to obtain the best outcome for our customers.
• The ability to provide technical advice and guidance to customers and other banking departments regarding debt products and deal structuring.
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, business or related fields are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and execute business development strategies across existing and new-to-bank broker-introduced customers spanning agribusiness and diversified industries.
• Work with lending support and deal structuring specialists to prepare business lending proposals, including obtaining and analysing business and industry information, and ongoing portfolio management.
• Identify opportunities to support customer growth across agribusiness and diversified sectors, and implement annual business plans for your portfolio.
• Support the delivery of the local area’s performance as measured through customer advocacy, financial metrics and employee engagement.
• Contribute to the growth of the team by coaching and developing junior colleagues through everyday interactions.
