Job summary

Medibank Private Limited is seeking an Iteration Manager to lead one or more squads within the Thrive hub, guiding delivery and release with a focus on agile maturity and continuous improvement. You will coach cross-functional teams, manage risks, dependencies, and ensure alignment to DPPE and Delivery strategies.

The role emphasizes end-to-end planning, stakeholder engagement, and collaborating with product management to maintain a clear backlog and deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• Experienced in IT/digital platform delivery.
• Led Scrum teams and delivery leadership.
• Proficient with Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Miro.
• Facilitated ceremonies; coached and mentored teams.
• Iteration Manager certification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Plan end-to-end delivery for squads and act as business liaison.
• Lead quarterly planning and translate objectives into a delivery plan.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and active backlog management.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritise business value.
• Remove impediments and enable sprint objectives and releases.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and release management processes.
• Provide Agile status reporting and metrics to leadership.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition to ongoing support.
