Job summary

Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation, seeks an Agile Delivery Manager to guide multiple scrum teams in an enterprise environment in Canberra. You will support product owners, remove blockers and coach teams in agile practices to lift delivery maturity.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience with Agile methods, strong SAFe knowledge, and proficiency with Jira and Confluence in large ICT transformation programs within government.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years’ experience facilitating the delivery of complex projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the SAFe framework and its application within large programs, preferably in government.
• Proficient with IT tools including Jira and Confluence for project delivery.

Duties

• Facilitate multiple scrum teams in an agile project environment.
• Support the product owners to develop and manage product backlogs, new requests and remove barriers.
• Coach team members in agile frameworks and scrum practices.
• Guide design teams to higher scrum maturity.
• Support the product owners to develop and manage product backlogs, new requests and remove barriers.
• Manage projects involving large data lake solutions.

Skills and Experience

• At least 3+ years’ experience facilitating the delivery of complex projects using Agile methodologies
• A strong understanding of the SAFe methodology and its application within a large and complex Program, preferably within a government context.
• Proficiency in using various IT applications and project management tools, including Jira Confluence.
• Demonstrated work experience managing/delivering large-scale ICT transformation. programs/projects in an Australian Government setting.
