Job summary

NTT in Canberra is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to drive delivery of complex ICT programs in a secure government environment. You will lead and coach Agile teams, manage risks and dependencies, and engage stakeholders to ensure transparency and governance.

This 12-month engagement involves working onsite in Canberra, with a strong focus on continuous improvement across multiple government ICT projects and secure delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in Agile delivery within complex ICT projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across organisational levels.
• Experience coaching teams on Agile principles to foster self-organising, cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in risk and dependency management affecting delivery.
• Proficiency with Scrum and Kanban and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to analyse and apply Agile metrics to enhance team performance.

Our client, a government agency, is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to drive the successful delivery of complex ICT programs within a secure environment based in Canberra, ACT. This 12-month initial engagement offers an exciting opportunity to facilitate high-performing Agile teams and promote continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with technical and business stakeholders to support collaboration and transparency.
• Prepare and present Agile delivery metrics and reports for governance forums and steering committees.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven leadership in Agile delivery within complex ICT projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across organisational levels.
• Experience coaching teams on Agile principles to foster self-organising, cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in risk and dependency management impacting delivery.
• Proficiency with Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to analyse and apply Agile metrics to enhance team performance.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in Federal Government or ICT project delivery.
• Supporting multiple ICT delivery projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of governance and reporting in secure environments.
