Job summary

MD Homecare is seeking an experienced aged care worker to support older people in their homes or residential settings. You will perform personal care, assist with mobility, meals and medication prompting, while building trusted relationships with clients and families.

Shifts vary from morning to weekend to meet client needs. Qualifications include Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), police and first aid checks, a current driver’s licence, and reliable transport.

• Current First Aid certificate and manual handling training.

Job Overview

Work Settings

Provide care for clients funded through Home Care Packages, Support at Home, or NDIS. Work can be in‑home or residential, with shifts varying from morning to weekend to align with clients’ needs.

Pay & Benefits

• Weekday: $33–$37 per hour (regulated under Aged Care Award).
• Saturday: $49–$56 per hour.
• Sunday: $57–$65 per hour.
• Public holiday: $82–$93 per hour.
• Casual employees receive a 25% loading.
