Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Caloundra, QLD is seeking a Wellness Partner to join the BlueCare team in our aged care facility. You will deliver inclusive wellness activities, support resident wellbeing, and collaborate with care staff, families and volunteers to tailor programs to individual needs.

The role is permanent part-time (60 hours per fortnight) with weekend availability. Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent is preferred, with Not-for-Profit salary

Qualifications

• Experience delivering group and 1:1 wellness activities in aged care or community settings.
• Understanding of dementia care and person-centred practice.
• Ability to design and adapt wellness activities for residents with cognitive or physical limitations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate inclusive group and 1:1 wellness activities.
• Collaborate with care staff, families and volunteers to align programs with resident needs.
• Guide and support volunteers to contribute to resident wellbeing.
• Gather input from residents and families to improve programs.
• Complete lifestyle assessments and observe changes in wellbeing.
