Job summary

LionHouse in Central Coast and Newcastle is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to become a Trainer and Assessor, combining practical teaching, workplace assessment and learner support.

You will deliver face-to-face training at client facilities, conduct assessments, provide feedback, and travel across the Central Coast and Newcastle, with training experience in aged care and a credential in training and assessment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Training and assessment credentials required (TAE40122 or equivalent).
• Experience in care sector and coaching/mentoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging classroom and practical training sessions.
• Conduct assessments and workplace observations.
• Provide clear feedback and support learners toward qualification.
• Complete marking, documentation and learner records accurately and on time.
• Travel between client facilities, primarily across the Central Coast and Newcastle.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve training delivery and learner experience.
