Job summary

Quest Training (RTO 0812) is seeking a casual Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our Belconnen-based team as trainer and assessor. You’ll teach face-to-face courses from Certificate III to Diploma, and run related staff training sessions one day a week or more depending on availability.

You must hold current AHPRA registration, a TAE certificate, and be experienced in aged care or disability, with a valid WWVP registration and driver licence.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential).
• Recent experience in aged care and/or disability.
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration and a current Australian driver licence.
• Availability for at least one day a week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face training in accredited courses from Certificate III to Diploma level, including Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health and Community Services.
• Deliver skill sets such as Assist Clients with Medication.
• Run non-accredited staff training in manual handling, medication, PEG, catheter, bowel care and epilepsy management.
• Mark student assessments online in Canvas LMS.
• Assess fairly and accurately, in line with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and the Privacy Act.
• Take part in validation and moderation, and help keep training resources up to date.
• Keep student records accurate and current.
