Job summary

LionHouse is seeking an Aged Care Trainer and Assessor who will deliver practical training and conduct workplace assessments for Skilled Care, RTO 31942. The role combines teaching, mentoring and learner support across Central Coast and Newcastle, with occasional travel to client facilities.

Qualified RN with current AHPRA registration preferred; other care qualifications considered. The role includes travel and standard business hours, with a company car, laptop and phone provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience delivering practical training and assessments in aged care.
• Ability to support learners and coordinate workplace-based assessments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver classroom and practical training.
• Conduct assessments and workplace observations.
• Provide feedback and support to learners toward qualifications.
• Travel between client facilities across Central Coast and Newcastle.
