Hireup is seeking enthusiastic and reliable support workers to join our team in Gympie, QLD. You’ll provide care and support for disability and aged care clients across a range of shifts.

You’ll work with a purpose-driven team, with training access, and a transparent hourly rate. Opportunities to grow and participate in Hireup Academy are available.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module required.
• Full First Aid required.
• Right to work in Australia.
• National Police Check within past 24 months.
• Full Australian Driver's Licence required.
• Must have minimum Cert III in Individual Support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients.
• Assist with mobility and falls risk management.
• Support clients with dementia care needs.
• Provide transport support for appointments and activities.
• Liaise with the client and care team to ensure quality care.
• Assist with domestic tasks and household chores.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable support workers in Gympie, QLD, to join our mission of setting a new standard for support and provide support for aged-care clients. Hireup support workers are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and older Australians and are committed to high standards of quality.

Your background:

We are currently seeking support workers who have hands-on experience with the following supports:

• Personal care
• Mobility (one client has a high fall risk)
• Dementia
• Transport support
• Experience with community services
• Domestic assistance

A range of shifts are available from Monday - Friday, mainly on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, with the possibility of extra shifts added in the future. Shifts are 1 hour and 30 minutes to 3 hours in length for multiple clients.

Mandatory documents required:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Full First Aid
• Right to work in Australia
• National Police Check - Completed within the past 24 months
• Full Australian Driver's Licence
• Must have minimum Cert III in Individual Support
