Job summary

Respect Group Limited is seeking an experienced Social Care Co-ordinator for Respect Emeral Avalon QLD. This full-time role leads resident-centered social care programs to support wellbeing, connection and quality of life.

You will oversee day-to-day operations with the General Manager, ensuring activities are meaningful, inclusive, and tailored to individual needs. Not-for-profit benefits include salary packaging and growth opportunities in aged care.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Strong computer and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in residential aged care
• Knowledge of dementia care
• Experience delivering recreational or complementary therapy programs

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and continuously improve lifestyle, therapy and recreational programs
• Lead and support Social Care staff and volunteers
• Build strong connections with local community groups, schools and organisations
• Facilitate resident meetings and encourage participation in program development
• Maintain accurate documentation, attendance records and program evaluations
• Manage resources, inventory and social care budgets
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
