Job summary

Dalrymple Villa Inc. seeks an experienced Aged Care Quality & Compliance Officer to strengthen our governance, quality and compliance systems. You will work with the Manager and Care Coordinator to ensure the facility meets the highest standards and is prepared for ACQSC registration and assessment.

The role focuses on developing policies, leading improvement initiatives, and delivering mandatory staff training, while ensuring regulatory alignment and ongoing compliance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in aged care quality and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Experience with provider registration, renewal and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of preparing a facility for ACQSC assessment or audit.
• Experience identifying compliance gaps and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience developing, reviewing and maintaining quality and compliance documentation.
• Experience designing and delivering staff training, onboarding and competency assessments.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the organisation's quality and compliance framework.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aged Care Quality & Compliance Officer to join our team in a senior quality and compliance capacity. Working closely with the Manager and Care Coordinator (Registered Nurse), this role will play a key part in strengthening our organisation's quality, compliance and governance systems and ensuring our facility is operating to the highest possible standard. This is an opportunity for an experienced aged care professional who enjoys improving systems, supporting teams, identifying gaps and making a genuine difference. A key focus of the role will be ensuring the organisation is fully prepared for registration and assessment against the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and maintaining the organisation's quality and compliance framework
• Ensuring compliance with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant aged care legislation and regulatory requirements
• Preparing the facility for ACQSC assessment, registration and renewal, including identifying compliance gaps and implementing corrective actions
• Developing, reviewing and maintaining policies, procedures and compliance documentation
• Leading continuous improvement planning and ensuring improvement actions are documented, monitored and completed
• Developing and delivering mandatory staff training, onboarding and competency assessments
• Monitoring staff compliance with mandatory training and competency requirements
• Providing leadership, guidance and accountability to staff to ensure expected standards are consistently maintained
• Maintaining compliance calendars, registers, reporting requirements and action plans
• Working independently to identify risks, resolve issues and drive improvements with minimal supervision

About you

• Demonstrated experience in aged care quality and compliance (essential)
• Strong working knowledge of the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
• Experience with aged care provider registration, renewal and regulatory requirements
• A proven track record of preparing an aged care facility for ACQSC assessment or audit
• Experience identifying compliance gaps and implementing effective corrective actions
• Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing and maintaining quality and compliance documentation
