Job summary

HammondCare is seeking an experienced Full-time Occupational Therapist to support aged care residents across dementia-specific residential homes. The role is based at Waratah (3 days), Cardiff (1 day) and Scone (1 day) with travel between sites; a high base pay rate or a fleet vehicle is available for travel to Scone, NSW.

Qualifications

Proven experience in occupational therapy for older adults.
Knowledge of dementia care principles and aged care settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Provide effective and timely OT services to residents and advisors to representatives.
Collaborate with residents, representatives, staff and Allied Health Team to assess needs and set goals.
Engage in quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
Deliver person-centred, evidence-based care across residential care sites.
