Job summary

Respect Group Limited's Chaffey House in regional Victoria is seeking a passionate permanent part-time Food Services Cook to join the hospitality team. You will prepare nutritious meals, cater to residents' dietary needs, and help deliver a warm dining experience in a supportive environment.

Working with the care and hospitality teams, you'll follow food safety protocols, manage time efficiently, support stock and waste minimisation, and help maintain a clean, inviting kitchen that respects

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in aged care/healthcare or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and safe handling practices.
• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Flexible, positive approach to work.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals according to planned menus and residents' dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are attractively presented and served promptly.
• Follow food safety and infection prevention/protocols.
• Assist with preparation of special diets and texture-modified meals.
• Support stock management, storage, and waste minimisation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen and service area.
• Collaborate with hospitality and care teams to meet residents' needs.
• Contribute to a positive team culture focused on quality service and resident wellbeing.
