Arcare Hillside in VIC is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare nutritious meals aligned with menu designs. You will help create appetising, well-balanced dishes that support residents’ health and wellbeing, while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with kitchen staff, adherence to dietary requirements, and commitment to high-quality dining experiences for residents. Training and development are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery).
• Able to work Thursday to Sunday AM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation according to menus designed by Head Chef; nutritious, appealing and diet-compliant meals.
• Accommodate special dietary requirements (texture-modified diets when needed).
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Monitor ingredient quality and portion sizes to ensure high standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal prep and service.
