Job summary

Respect’s Costa House in Lara is seeking a Food Services Assistant to join a caring, not-for-profit team delivering high-quality meals to residents. You will work with our Chef or Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals while upholding food safety standards in a supportive, community-focused setting.

The role is casual with shifts across mornings, afternoons and weekends. Completion of a Food Handling Course and a current National Police Check are required, with opportunity to grow within the

Qualifications

• Completion of a Food Handling Course.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in residential aged care feed services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals for residents.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safe food handling.
• Monitor temperatures and manage food safety records.
• Support menu planning reflecting residents’ needs and dietary requirements.
