Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a dedicated staff member to join our kitchen team at our aged care homes across multiple states. You will help prepare meals, keep the kitchen spotless, and contribute to menu variety alongside our residents and team.

We value a real desire to make a difference in residents’ lives, with prior kitchen experience (aged care a bonus) and strong time management. Completion of the Basic Food Handling Course is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus).
• Great time management and planning skills.
• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink.
• Cleaning (including dishes).
• Changing up the menu with residents and team.
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.
