Job summary

Berengarra Aged Care in Melbourne, VIC is seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Cleaner to join a friendly, supportive team. Responsibilities include helping with food preparation and meal service, cleaning and laundry across resident rooms and common areas, and maintaining infection control procedures.

Requires a Food Handling Certificate and experience in cleaning, with a preference for aged care experience. A current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Food handling certificate required.
• Experience in cleaning and food/beverage handling, preferably in aged care.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills.
• NDIS check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and daily menu planning.
• Provide full meal service to residents and wash/clear plates.
• Clean kitchen, pantry, equipment and resident areas.
• Support laundry duties and resident laundry delivery.
• Maintain infection control and hygiene standards.
