Zusammenfassung

Intereach Bendigo is seeking a Community Support Worker (Home Care) to join our Aged Care Support team in Bendigo. This permanent part-time role (minimum 15 hours per week) is based onsite and supports older people to live independently at home.

You will provide person-centred support to clients aged 65+ (or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), helping them stay safe and connected in their homes.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and families.
• Strong customer service orientation with compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet client needs.

• Provide respite, companionship, domestic assistance and personal care.
• Support social engagement and community participation for clients.
• Assist with meal prep and daily living tasks.
• Maintain client records and document progress and wellbeing.
