Job summary

BlueCare Mackay Homefield Aged Care Facility is seeking a casual Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) to support residents with meals, cleaning, laundry and general hospitality services. The role offers shifts across mornings to evenings, with penalties and allowances and includes salary packaging options.

The successful candidate will have hospitality or related experience, a customer-focused approach and compliance with food safety and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard
• Providing laundry services, including caring for resident clothing and linen
• Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service
• Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices
• Working as part of the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services
