Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Home Services Officer in Redcliffe to join the onsite hospitality team. You will help deliver high-quality dining, cleaning and laundry services within a safe, welcoming environment, supporting residents with daily tasks and meal service.

The role emphasizes person-centred care, strong teamwork and adherence to hygiene and safety standards, with shifts including early mornings and afternoons as part of a part-time roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning or food services.
• Ability to provide person-centred customer service with warmth and respect.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Attention to detail with hygiene and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas and assist residents during meals.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties for resident rooms and shared areas.
• Engage with residents in a warm and respectful manner to create a positive experience.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety across tasks.
• Support daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
