BlueCare is seeking a Home Services Lead for the Toowoomba Aged Care Facility to oversee day-to-day delivery of food services, cleaning and laundry, ensuring person-centred care, safety, and consistently high standards across home environments.

This hands-on leadership role involves coaching and developing a team, coordinating rostering and operations, and driving service performance while fostering positive relationships with residents, families and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete).
• A relevant trade or operational qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Hospitality, Commercial Cookery or similar).
• Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
• Ability to satisfy probity checks in line with BlueCare policies.

Responsabilités

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of food services, cleaning, and laundry services.
• Coach, support, and develop your team, building a strong, accountable, and engaged culture.
• Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
• Oversee workflow, rostering, and operational performance.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and enhance the customer experience.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and care.
