Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is expanding with a new 102-bed home in Kincumber. The role involves serving meals and beverages to residents, setting up meal services, and ensuring safety and quality in food handling. Availability is at least 3 days per week, with rostered neighbourhood assignments.

Ideal candidates have a genuine care for older people, strong communication skills, and respect for diverse cultures. Cert III in Food Safety is nice to have.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with residents and team members.

• Food safety practices and meal service skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and drinks with care and respect.
• Set up and run meal services (servery/buffet/beverage stations).
• Follow meal plans and maintain food safety (right temp, right texture).
• Keep dining areas and equipment clean, tidy and welcoming.
