Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking casual catering team members to provide high-quality dining services to residents. You will assist with meal preparation, serve meals, and support a compassionate, resident-focused dining experience.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to food safety standards while you help enhance the residents’ quality of life. Prior hospitality experience is helpful, with preferred but not required Certificate III in Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Heart for providing high quality care to the elderly.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
• Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation and dining service.
• Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
• Work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.
