Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Kincumber is seeking friendly, reliable dining assistants to join our new 102-bed residential aged care home. You’ll serve meals and drinks, help set up meal services, and ensure food safety and a welcoming dining environment.

Availability is at least 3 days per week and you’ll usually work in the same neighbourhood. A genuine care for older people, strong communication and respect for residents’ culture are essential; Cert III in Food Safety is helpful.

Qualifications

• A genuine care for older people
• Great communication and people skills
• Respect for residents’ cultures, preferences and beliefs
• Cert III / Food Safety (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and drinks with care and respect
• Set up and run meal services (servery/buffet/beverage stations)
• Follow meal plans and food safety (right temp, right texture)
• Keep dining areas and equipment clean, tidy and welcoming
