Job summary

Uniting NSW ACT is seeking experienced aged care professionals to provide compassionate care to residents in a supportive, inclusive environment. Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in residential aged care with person-centred care practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, building relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
• Assist residents during meals and activities of daily living.
• Support medication assistance and simple wound care where required.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide emotional support and companionship.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
• Work with leadership to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Promote best practice documentation and high standards of care.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and share knowledge.
