Job summary

Ozcare Group in Innisfail is seeking four casual Care Assistants to support our clients at the Innisfail Aged Care Facility. You will provide attentive care, assist with daily living tasks, and contribute to personalised care plans to improve residents' quality of life.

Role requires Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Home & Community Care, First Aid & CPR, influenza and at least one COVID-19 vaccine, plus a National Police Check and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering person-centred care in an aged care setting.
• Ability to support clients with daily living activities and independence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to clients per personalised care plans.
• Assist clients with personal care needs (showering, dressing, daily activities).
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring as required.
• Support clients to develop skills to maintain independence.
• Work as part of a holistic care team to review client well-being.
