Job summary

Ozcare Group is seeking a Client Services Assistant for our Toowoomba Aged Care Facility. You will look after our clients, assist with meals, cleaning, laundry, and other tasks to support a safe and welcoming environment.

Casual shifts with flexible rosters, vaccination requirements (influenza and at least one Covid-19 dose), police screening, and uniform provided. Prior kitchen experience is desirable and prior frail aged care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Be vaccinated against influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
• Current Police Screening Certificate.
• Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Demonstrated experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable.
• Previous experience in assisting frail aged persons.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook (where applicable).
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required.
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services.
• Clean the Facility with emphasis on WH&S areas (toilets, floors, etc.).
