Job summary

Peninsula Village on the Central Coast is seeking a Care and Support Partner to deliver engaging lifestyle activities for residents. You will build strong relationships with residents and their families while promoting dignity and respect in daily life.

You will support activity programs, assist with planning and deliver meaningful engagement for residents, including those living with dementia, in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support is required.
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent experience desirable.
• First Aid Certificate is required.
• Commitment to ICCARE Values and Consumer Directed Care model.
• Exceptional communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating activity programs for residents.
• Experience engaging with elderly residents, including those with dementia is highly regarded.
• This is a physical role with required physical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Sound administrative and computer skills.
• Understanding WHS and infection control principles.
