Job summary

Peninsula Villages is seeking enthusiastic Personal Care Assistants for full-time night duty roles on the Central Coast. You will provide personalised care to residents and support daily living activities within our ICCARE values, ensuring a warm, safe environment.

Applicants should have Certificate III in Individual Support, strong communication skills, and a working knowledge of WHS and infection control.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong communication and empathy with residents.
• Understands and applies WHS and infection control principles.
• Experience with aged care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and medication administration as required.

In the role of a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide personalised care to residents in accordance with our model of care and ICCARE values, enabling them to engage in life within the home. PCAs assist with the full range of duties including personal care, medication administration, tidying up and provide opportunities for residents to engage in activities of daily living, leisure activities and wider community involvement.

You will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and their families and deliver homely and loving environments by providing care with compassion, integrity and dignity.

About You

Are you willing to engage and align your practice with ourPeninsula Villages ICCARE Values?

Do you hold a minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support?

Do you have the ability to complete documentation on a computer and excellent communication skills?

Can you demonstrate an understanding of WHS and infection control principles?

Dementia specific training/experience and previous experience in caring for the aged in an aged care facility is beneficial.
