Job summary

Peninsula Villages on the Central Coast NSW is seeking enthusiastic, reliable Personal Care Assistants for full-time night shifts. You will deliver personalised care to residents, assist with daily living activities and medication administration, and support engagement in leisure and community activities.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, demonstrate excellent communication, and can document on a computer while upholding WHS and infection control standards.

In the role of a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide personalised care to residents in accordance with our model of care and ICCARE values, enabling them to engage in life within the home. PCAs assist with the full range of duties including personal care, medication administration, tidying up and provide opportunities for residents to engage in activities of daily living, leisure activities and wider community involvement.

You will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and their families and deliver homely and loving environments by providing care with compassion, integrity and dignity.

Dementia specific training/experience and previous experience in caring for the aged in an aged care facility is beneficial.
