Job summary

Kirinari Community Services Ltd. is seeking experienced Aged & Home Care Workers to support older Australians in maintaining independence and safety in their own homes.

You will work directly with clients to deliver compassionate, person-centred care and practical assistance. The role covers domestic tasks, personal care, meal preparation, transport to appointments, shopping and helping clients stay connected with family and community.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Caring, person-centred approach with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with domestic tasks and personal care.
• Provide meal preparation and transport to appointments.
• Support clients' social participation and community engagement.
• Help with shopping and errands and accompany clients as needed.

About the Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.

We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have:

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A caring and person-centred approach
• Excellent time management and reliability
• A genuine passion for supporting older Australians

• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Check
• NDIS Worker's Check
• Australian working rights
