Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is seeking experienced Aged & Home Care Workers to help older Australians stay independent, connected and safe at home. You will provide personal care, meal prep, transport support and companionship, building meaningful relationships with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• NDIS Worker’s Check and National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance and daily living support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with personal care and meal preparation.
• Support transport to appointments and errands as needed.
• Encourage community participation and social engagement for clients.
• Deliver consistent, respectful care to help clients remain independent.

About the Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.

We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have:

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A caring and person-centred approach
• Excellent time management and reliability
• A genuine passion for supporting older Australians
