James Hardie Industries is a leading provider of high-performance fibre cement and related building solutions. This Team Leader role supports day-to-day warehouse operations, guiding a high-performing team and maintaining strict safety and accuracy standards.

The position operates on an afternoon shift from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and offers opportunities to drive process improvements, training, and collaboration across internal teams. James Hardie emphasizes safety and employee development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Team Leader role within warehousing or distribution.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); SAP experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
• Proven ability to lead, collaborate and drive performance.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure H&S/CoR compliance.
• Coordinate daily warehouse operations including start-up and planning.
• Resolve roadblocks to maintain smooth workflow.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Oversee load checking and audits to ensure order accuracy.
• Adhere to SOPs and effectively use SAP/WMS systems.
• Identify and implement improvements for efficiency and safety.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers and onsite teams.
• Coordinate with Finishing, Sales and Supply Chain to support improvements.
• Coach and onboard staff to build capability and performance.
