James Hardie is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for the Afternoon Shift at our Carole Park Distribution Centre. The role involves safely moving and dispatching goods, performing pre-start checks, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a high-volume warehouse.

Qualified candidates will hold a forklift license and a valid driver’s license, with SAP experience preferred. This on-site position requires physical fitness and a strong safety mindset to uphold ZERO HARM standards.

Qualifications

• Forklift operators must hold a valid forklift license and a valid driver's license.
• Experience with loading and unloading oversized pallets.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with CoR.
• Ability to perform daily pre-start checks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organise products within the warehouse.
• Oversee the movement and delivery of goods from the warehouse to customers and other locations.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Receive, store, and dispatch goods in line with company procedures.
• Prepare stock for storage or dispatch, including cutting straps, removing protective sheets, splitting packs, and stacking accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory handling and ensure products are stored securely.
