Job summary

Miller Leith is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume distribution centre servicing customers across Victoria and Tasmania. The role runs on an afternoon shift from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.

You will drive safety, manage labour, optimise inventory, and partner with internal teams and transport providers to achieve service, productivity and cost targets while fostering a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on warehouse leader with experience in fast-paced distribution.
• Experience supervising warehouse teams and driving KPI targets.
• Knowledge of WMS, ERP systems and inventory control processes.
• Ability to balance service levels with cost objectives.
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse and distribution centre activities.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WH&S requirements.
• Manage warehouse labour resources to meet service, productivity and cost targets.
• Coach, develop and performance manage warehouse team members.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, stock movements and dispatch activities are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor and improve warehouse productivity, loading efficiency and KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, transport providers and operational teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Assist with budget control, cost management and resource planning.
• Act as operational lead in the absence of the Distribution Centre Manager.
