Job summary

James Hardie Industries is seeking a Team Leader for the warehouse operations in Queensland. The role will coordinate day-to-day activities, lead a high-performing team, and ensure safe, accurate movement of goods on the afternoon shift (12:30PM - 9:00PM).

Key requirements include a Bachelor’s in a Supply Chain field, 3+ years in a Team Leader role, forklift licence, and experience with WMS/SAP. Strong communication and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Supply Chain or related field.
• 3+ years in a Team Leader role within warehousing, distribution, or similar environment.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Experience with WMS/SAP; SAP preferred.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety-first culture and ensure CoR compliance.
• Coordinate daily warehouse operations and resource planning.
• Resolve roadblocks to maintain workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with stock counts, inspections and updates.
• Oversee load checks, audits and reporting for order accuracy.
• Ensure SOP adherence and use of SAP/WMS.
• Coach onboarding and day-to-day development to boost performance.
