Aero Plastics & Structures in Townsville is seeking a Production Engineer to optimise shop-floor processes across moulding, transparency, trim, sheetmetal and machining teams. You will collaborate with production, quality and management to raise efficiency, consistency and compliance on our aerospace manufacturing lines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in aerospace, plastics or composites is highly regarded.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems; CASA approvals a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Review and map the structure of moulding, trimming, sheetmetal and machining teams.
• Time-study key production tasks to set labour standards and quotes.
• Plan plant, specify materials, equipment, and production layouts for upgrades.
• Coordinate people, materials, and equipment to keep exports and kit builds on schedule.
