Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a recent Aerospace, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer to join the Engineering & Technical Services team in Queensland. You will gain exposure to aircraft sustainment, engineering investigations and Defence aviation processes while working with experienced engineers who will help build your capability.

The role is based in Springfield or Pinkenba with hybrid working and a 9 day fortnight option.

Qualifications

• Recent Aerospace, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering graduate with 1–3 years' experience.
• Ability to learn quickly, work well with others and apply university learning to real engineering challenges.
• Willingness to gain and retain Defence-specific clearance and work in Defence aviation context.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced aerospace engineers to develop capability across aircraft sustainment and airworthiness.
• Link Airbus engineering information with technicians maintaining the KC-30A fleet.
• Contribute to engineering investigations, maintenance improvements and technical problem-solving.
