Job summary

RFDS SA/NT is seeking a Line Pilot in Port Augusta to lead aeromedical flight operations across SA and NT. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Flight Operations, you will conduct evacuations, inter-hospital transfers, and healthcare personnel charter flights with the latest aviation tech.

The role requires CASA CPL (A), 2000 total hours, 1500 in command, 100 night hours, and recent single-pilot IFR. You will thrive in a multi-disciplinary team, work independently, and contribute to a trusted rural

Qualifications

CASA CPL (A) required.
Minimum 2000 total flight hours.
Minimum 1500 hours in command.
100 hours of night flying experience.
Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
Recent single pilot IFR (within 2 years).
Experience in operating in remote areas helpful.
Experience flying PC12 or PC24 aircraft advantageous.
Knowledge of rural and remote Australia beneficial.
Experience with emergency retrieval practices and turbine engine aircraft is a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete flight operations for aeromedical evacuations, inter-hospital transfers and healthcare personnel charter flights.
Deliver charter flights for the primary health care team and equipment; conduct routine patient transfers.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams using state-of-the-art flight simulation and technology.
